Construction Dewatering

During construction, it is often necessary to drain or move water.  New regulation from the Environmental Protection Agency mandates careful monitoring and measurement of run-off from construction sites, making construction dewatering not only important for job timeliness but a matter of legal compliance.  Pumps used for dewatering during construction often pull debris into the intake, causing a loss of prime and pump overheating, destroying the pump and discharge pipes.  Without the dewatering pump operating effectively, jobs experience costly delays and possible issues with their management of environmental impact.

The Pump Protector installs easily on the drain port of any sized centrifugal pump used for dewatering, preventing pump meltdown - when the intake is clogged, the pump attendant can remove the blockage and restart the pump with the press of a button, returning the job site to work before water can buildup and cause a delay.  Our 1-Amp Pump Protector can be integrated with remote monitoring systems for larger sites and those with long-term dewatering efforts.

For equipment rental vendors, Pump Protectors offer peace of mind that your expensive capital investments will not be damaged due to all-to-common intake blockages and overheat events.
